Lucknow, January 11 (IANS): Lucknow police have arrested a person in reference to the suicide of a teenage lady, police stated.
In accordance with the police, the 17-year-old lady dedicated suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her residence in Madiyaon space right here.
“The lady’s father filed an FIR towards one individual Rafique Siddique, who threatened his daughter. The accused has been booked beneath Part 306 (abetment of suicide) of the IPC,” stated Qasim Abidi, Deputy Commissioner of Police, North.
The lady’s father stated the accused labored in a library in Anna market in Lucknow and needed to marry his daughter.
The accused would ship his brother house and inform them he was a politician who would possibly get them in bother, the sufferer’s father added.
